JV Coach

Coach Mehlhorn is a native of Tempe who played basketball and ran track and cross country. Mehlhorn graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Accounting. While at ASU he lettered all four years in Track and Cross Country. Before joining the coaching staff at Corona, Mehlhorn toured South Africa with a national team where he played basketball against professional and collegiate teams

Freshman Coach

John Wochner

Coach Wochner bring 9 years of high school coaching experience to Corona which is also his alma mater. Wochner was a Freshmen and JV head coach at Valley Christian High School before returning to Corona. Wochner played high school basketball all four years at Corona under legendary head coach Sam Duane Sr. before graduating from Arizona State University. Wochner and his wife, Laura, have four children: Erin (14), Brooke (12), Kasey (7) and Nathan (5).
